Cindy Billock, NP

Cindy Billock, APRN, BC, a native of Michigan, received her Bachelor of Science in Biology followed by a second Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After several years of working as a registered nurse and raising her family, Cindy went back to school to obtain her Masters of Science in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner license. She has worked in GI for over twenty years and is one of the few nurses to be certified as a Gastroenterology Nurse and obtain both her licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner.

 

As a GI Nurse Practitioner Ms. Billock has extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of digestive conditions. She has worked as a GI Nurse and Endoscopy Assistant as well as having been a Nurse Manager of an ambulatory endoscopy unit. She is active in the Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) and attends many CME courses each year. Her special areas of interest and expertise include Hepatitis C and liver diseases, inflammatory bowel disease and women’s digestive health issues.

 She has been active in clinical research for years. Cindy has 4 grown adult daughters and one grandchild that are her pride and joy.
